See, speckled eggs!!! I know some of you are saying, "huh?" But, I am the boring, mess-free, easy-clean-up mom. This year, though, I let the boys do something besides just dunking the eggs into colored water. With special "egg glue" and different colored foil paper, we made eggs that looked like magical, dragon eggs. Lots of fun and not too messy.

Rather than be late for church on Easter morning, we had to settle on this pose. Oh well, they are still my sweet, adorable cutie-pies!!
I was just glad to get that blond, bundle of energy to stand still for 1/2 a second. By then though, the boys had lost interest.

Easter

Showing off favorite egg-creations

I just love that Mark creates a beautiful Easter basket for me each year!

Looking for eggs in the rocks

Shiloh had her own little area of girly colored eggs, and as I had predicted she found her first egg, opened it, and shoved the candy in her mouth before we could stop her. Chocolate drooled down the front of her dress in a matter of moments! That's my girl.

Just trying to get a cute picture of the kids...
It is getting harder and harder to get Mullin in on picture posing fun!

Happy Easter!

"Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29
I just love it when Easter is celebrated in April instead of March. The weather is nicer and warmer, and it gives me over a month to enjoy eating pretty, pastel candy!!
A neighbor and I hosted a neighborhood Easter egg hunt a few days ago, and the kids had a blast!

The boys had a fun time coloring eggs. They turned out so bright and beautiful!

Making chocolate birds' nests with friends.
Even Shiloh gets an egg. Hot pink to match her dress!
